Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, secure AWS/Azure/GCP cloud architectures serving 1M+ users
- Lead migration strategies for legacy on-premise systems to cloud-native solutions
- Conduct cost optimization analysis reducing cloud spend by 30%+ annually
- Mentor junior engineers through architecture reviews and technical documentation
- Collaborate with product teams to define cloud requirements and SLAs
- Stay current with emerging cloud technologies (Serverless, AI/ML integration)
- Present architectural blueprints to C-level stakeholders and technical committees
Qualifications
- 8+ years in cloud architecture with 3+ years in senior leadership roles
- Expert AWS/Azure/GCP certification (Solutions Architect Professional level)
- Proven experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines
- Deep understanding of security frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2)
- Strong background in microservices and serverless architectures
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Excellent presentation skills with executive stakeholders
- Portfolio demonstrating cloud transformation projects >$1M value
