Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable cloud infrastructure solutions using AWS/Azure services
- Lead migration projects from legacy systems to cloud-native architectures
- Develop automation scripts using Terraform and Ansible for deployment pipelines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and architectural guidance
- Monitor system performance and optimize cloud costs using FinOps principles
- Contribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements using Jenkins and GitLab
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering with AWS/Azure certifications
- Expertise in container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker) and serverless architecture
- Strong programming skills in Python, Go, or Java
- Proven track record of designing high-availability systems
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and architectural decision-making
- Strong communication skills with experience in remote team environments
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
