The Role:
You will be the guardian of our network integrity, identifying vulnerabilities and mitigating threats before they impact our clients. This is a high-impact role requiring a strategic mind and hands-on technical expertise.
Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and respond to incidents using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel).
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on internal and external networks.
- Configure and manage firewalls, VPNs, and endpoint protection systems.
- Develop and maintain detailed incident response and disaster recovery documentation.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate security best practices into the software lifecycle.
- Stay current with emerging threats and industry compliance standards (GDPR, HIPAA).
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or IT operations.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or CISM are highly preferred.
- Experience managing remote security operations and virtualized environments.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, and common network protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Valid driver's license and reliable internet connection (minimum 500Mbps upload/download).
