Job Description
We are seeking a visionary Senior Data Analyst to join our elite remote team. Based in the Columbus, OH area but working entirely from home, you will be the architect of our data strategy. This role is not just about analyzing numbers; it's about uncovering the stories hidden within them to drive business growth. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline operations and enhance decision-making processes through advanced analytics.
Responsibilities
- Data Engineering & Modeling: Design, build, and maintain complex data models and ETL pipelines using SQL and Python.
- Advanced Visualization: Develop intuitive, interactive dashboards using Tableau and Power BI to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) in real-time.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with product managers and engineering teams to define data requirements and translate business needs into analytical solutions.
- Statistical Analysis: Conduct deep-dive statistical analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process optimization.
- Reporting: Generate comprehensive, high-level reports and presentations for executive leadership to support strategic initiatives.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in data analysis, data warehousing, or business intelligence.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL), Python (Pandas, NumPy), and advanced Excel.
- Tools: Demonstrated expertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate complex data concepts for non-technical audiences.
