Responsibilities
- Data Modeling & Architecture: Design, develop, and maintain complex data models and ETL pipelines to support business intelligence needs.
- Dashboarding: Create interactive and intuitive dashboards using Tableau or PowerBI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for stakeholders.
- Statistical Analysis: Conduct deep-dive statistical analysis to uncover trends, anomalies, and actionable insights that drive revenue growth.
- Reporting: Generate comprehensive weekly and monthly reports, ensuring data accuracy and timely delivery to the management team.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, sales, and product teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Data Quality: Implement data quality checks and validation processes to ensure high data integrity across all systems.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in data analysis, preferably within the tech or e-commerce industry.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and Python (Pandas, NumPy). Experience with BI tools like Tableau or PowerBI is essential.
- Location: Must reside within the Portland, Oregon metropolitan area to facilitate occasional in-office collaboration or team events.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex data concepts to non-technical audiences clearly.
- Tools: Strong command of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and advanced data cleaning techniques.
