Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, and Terraform
- Optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS) for 99.99% uptime
- Automate deployment processes and infrastructure-as-code with CloudFormation
- Monitor system performance using Prometheus, Grafana, and Datadog
- Collaborate with development teams to resolve production issues proactively
- Lead security compliance initiatives including SOC2 and PCI-DSS standards
- Mentor junior engineers on DevOps best practices and cloud architecture
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience with AWS and container orchestration (Kubernetes/ECS)
- Expertise in Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Strong scripting skills in Python/Bash and experience with CI/CD tools
- Proven track record in designing high-availability distributed systems
- Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
- Certifications (AWS Certified DevOps Engineer preferred)
- Ability to work independently in remote environments with minimal supervision
- Strong problem-solving skills and passion for automation
