The Role: Design, implement, and optimize cloud infrastructure while mentoring junior engineers. This full-time remote position requires 40 hours/week with flexible scheduling.
Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain scalable AWS/GCP infrastructure using Terraform and Kubernetes
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI
- Automate cloud monitoring and security protocols with tools like Datadog and Splunk
- Lead cloud migration projects for enterprise clients
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize performance and cost
- Document infrastructure blueprints and operational procedures
- Mentor junior engineers on DevOps best practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure and DevOps
- Expertise in AWS/GCP services and infrastructure-as-code tools
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, or Go)
- Certifications in AWS/GCP or Kubernetes preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills for complex cloud environments
- Experience with container orchestration and microservices
- Excellent communication skills for remote stakeholder collaboration
