Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions using AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudFormation)
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions
- Create and manage Kubernetes clusters on EKS with Helm charts and Istio service mesh
- Automate deployment processes using Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure as code
- Monitor system performance using Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack
- Implement security best practices including IAM policies and network security groups
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize cloud resource utilization
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices
- Expertise in AWS services with professional-level certifications
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, Bash, or PowerShell)
- Strong understanding of container orchestration and microservices architecture
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex cloud environments
- Excellent communication skills for remote team collaboration
