Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain highly available and scalable CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
- Manage and automate cloud infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices on AWS and Azure.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and implement proactive security measures and patching strategies.
- Collaborate closely with development and operations teams to streamline workflows and improve deployment frequency.
- Drive the adoption of containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes, to optimize application deployment.
- Establish and enforce monitoring, logging, and alerting standards (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack) to ensure system reliability.
- Conduct code reviews and provide technical mentorship to junior engineers within the team.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or a similar engineering role.
- Strong proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or Go.
- Deep knowledge of Linux operating systems and container orchestration (Kubernetes/Docker).
- Experience with major cloud providers (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and their core services.
- Proven experience implementing Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting with a high degree of autonomy.
