Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable AWS/GCP infrastructure using Terraform and CloudFormation
- Automate CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI
- Optimize cloud costs and performance through monitoring with Datadog/Prometheus
- Implement robust security protocols including IAM policies and network security
- Lead container orchestration projects using Kubernetes and Docker
- Collaborate with Boston-based development teams on infrastructure requirements
- Mentor junior engineers on DevOps best practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or cloud infrastructure roles
- Expert proficiency in AWS or GCP with professional certifications
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Go
- Proven experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Pulumi)
- Hands-on Kubernetes administration and Helm experience
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog)
- Excellent problem-solving skills with cloud-native troubleshooting
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
