Responsibilities
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and Jenkins for microservices architecture
- Manage AWS infrastructure including EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS with Terraform
- Optimize container orchestration using Kubernetes and Docker
- Develop infrastructure-as-code solutions with Ansible and CloudFormation
- Implement security best practices including IAM policies and VPC configurations
- Monitor system performance with Prometheus/Grafana and PagerDuty alerts
- Mentor junior engineers on DevOps best practices and cloud-native technologies
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure and DevOps automation
- Expertise in AWS services with professional certification (AWS Certified DevOps Engineer)
- Strong proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python/Bash)
- Experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
- Knowledge of Kubernetes ecosystem (Helm, Istio, Kustomize)
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Proven track record of optimizing cloud costs and performance
- Excellent problem-solving skills with system troubleshooting experience
