Our Sacramento-based team operates with a hybrid work model, but this role is fully remote with occasional quarterly meetups. You'll leverage AWS, React, and Node.js to build enterprise-grade applications while mentoring junior developers and driving technical excellence.
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement scalable microservices using AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Lead development of responsive React front-ends with TypeScript integration
- Optimize database performance through PostgreSQL and Redis implementation
- Mentor junior developers through code reviews and pair programming sessions
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical specifications
- Conduct thorough testing including unit, integration, and end-to-end validation
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in full-stack development with React and Node.js
- Proficiency in AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda) and cloud architecture
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and GraphQL
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Experience with agile methodologies and Jira/Confluence
- Proven track record of mentoring development teams
- Portfolio demonstrating complex web applications
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
