Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable web applications using modern frameworks (React, Node.js, or Python).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Chicago and remote hubs to define, design, and ship new features.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, adhering to industry best practices and coding standards.
- Conduct thorough code reviews and provide constructive feedback to junior and senior developers alike.
- Identify and troubleshoot complex technical issues, ensuring system stability and performance optimization.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and propose improvements to our tech stack.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack software development.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern frontend frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular).
- Experience with backend technologies such as Node.js, Python, or Java.
- Demonstrated ability to work remotely with a high degree of self-discipline and time management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with distributed teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
