Responsibilities
- Lead development of cloud-native microservices using Node.js, React, and AWS
- Design and implement secure API endpoints with OAuth 2.0 and JWT authentication
- Optimize database performance for PostgreSQL and Redis in high-transaction environments
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and architectural planning sessions
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform
- Drive technical debt reduction and system reliability improvements
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in full-stack development with modern JavaScript frameworks
- Proficiency in AWS services (EC2, Lambda, RDS, S3) and infrastructure-as-code
- Strong background in RESTful API design and GraphQL implementation
- Experience with agile methodologies and JIRA/Confluence workflows
- Expertise in testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress) and TDD principles
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Portfolio demonstrating complex web applications with scalable architectures
