As a key member of our engineering squad, you will lead the architecture of scalable web applications and drive technical excellence across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy high-quality, scalable software solutions using modern technologies.
- Lead architectural decisions and ensure code quality through rigorous testing and code reviews.
- Mentor junior developers and foster a culture of continuous learning and collaboration.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Product, Design, Marketing) to define features and user stories.
- Optimize application performance, security, and reliability in a cloud environment.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and retrospectives.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack software development.
- Proficiency in JavaScript (React, Vue, or Angular) and Node.js.
- Strong understanding of database design (SQL and NoSQL).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Must be based in or willing to relocate to Baltimore, MD.
