Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our high-growth team. This is a full-time remote position with deep roots in the Houston tech community. You will be responsible for building scalable web applications and leading technical initiatives that drive our product forward.
What You'll Do:
- Develop and maintain robust front-end and back-end architectures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following industry best practices.
- Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers.
- Optimize application performance and ensure security standards.
- Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to technical strategy.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance web applications using React, Node.js, or Python.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to define feature requirements and technical specifications.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, adhering to coding standards and best practices.
- Participate in peer code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge across the team.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and security to ensure a seamless user experience.
- Manage and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure).
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack software development.
- Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), React, and a major backend language (Node.js, Python, or Java).
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and database management (SQL/NoSQL).
- Experience with cloud services and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
