Responsibilities
- Design & Architecture: Lead the end-to-end design and development of scalable, high-performance web applications.
- Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code; conduct thorough code reviews to ensure best practices.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define features and solve complex technical challenges.
- Mentorship: Mentor junior developers, provide technical guidance, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Testing & Deployment: Implement automated testing strategies and CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth deployment processes.
- Optimization: Monitor application performance and optimize for speed, scalability, and security.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack web development.
- Frontend: Proficiency in React, TypeScript, and modern CSS frameworks (Tailwind, Bootstrap).
- Backend: Strong experience with Node.js, Express, or Python.
- Databases: Solid understanding of SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases.
- DevOps: Familiarity with cloud services (AWS or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a remote-first mindset.
- Location: Must be legally authorized to work in the USA; preference given to candidates based in or willing to relocate to Omaha, NE.
