Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for 2026 technology trends across AI, quantum computing, and biotech
- Architect strategic innovation roadmaps for Fortune 500 partners
- Develop patentable solutions for climate resilience and human augmentation
- Mentor junior engineers in speculative design methodologies
- Present at global tech summits (Davos, CES, Web Summit)
- Coordinate with MIT Media Lab and NASA JPL on collaborative projects
- Drive ethical frameworks for next-gen autonomous systems
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Engineering/Computer Science with 10+ years experience
- Published research in Nature/Science on emerging technologies
- Proven track record of launching tech products with $100M+ market impact
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum machine learning, synthetic biology, or neuromorphic computing
- Security clearance or ability to obtain (for government projects)
- Portfolio of 2026-focused prototypes or white papers
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming languages
