Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify emerging technologies, societal shifts, and market disruptions relevant to 2026+
- Develop and implement strategic foresight frameworks including scenario planning, backcasting, and technology roadmaps
- Lead cross-functional innovation workshops and collaborate with R&D, product, and executive teams
- Translate future insights into actionable business strategies and innovation pipelines
- Author high-impact foresight reports and presentations for C-suite stakeholders
- Monitor global innovation ecosystems and identify partnership opportunities
- Establish KPIs to track innovation maturity and future-readiness
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, Technology Strategy, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology planning
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing, Web3)
- Exceptional storytelling and communication skills for complex technical concepts
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and executive-level presentations
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future strategy implementations
- Published thought leadership in innovation or futures publications preferred
