Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across biotech, AI, quantum computing, and climate tech
- Develop innovation roadmaps aligned with 2026-2030 industry projections
- Design and facilitate strategic foresight workshops for Fortune 500 partners
- Author white papers on exponential technologies and their societal impacts
- Manage a portfolio of experimental innovation projects with $2M+ budgets
- Build cross-functional coalitions between R&D, product, and investment teams
- Present findings to executive stakeholders and industry conferences
Qualifications
- 8+ years in innovation strategy, futurism, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial opportunities
- Expertise in scenario planning and trend extrapolation methodologies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Published author or speaker at Davos, SXSW, or similar forums
- Experience with exponential technologies (quantum, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ major innovation initiatives launched
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
