Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify and analyze emerging technologies, sociocultural shifts, and market disruptions through 2030+
- Develop and publish strategic foresight frameworks for executive decision-making and R&D pipeline prioritization
- Architect innovation roadmaps integrating AI, quantum computing, biotech, and sustainable energy paradigms
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops with global stakeholders to translate foresight into actionable business strategies
- Represent the company at premier industry conferences and publish thought leadership in top-tier publications
- Mentor a team of junior futurists and innovation analysts while maintaining thought leadership credibility
- Partner with venture capital arm to identify and evaluate disruptive startups for strategic partnerships
Qualifications
- Advanced degree (Master's/PhD) in Futurism, Strategic Foresight, Technology Management, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in innovation strategy, trend analysis, or technology forecasting with Fortune 500 or high-growth startups
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-oriented strategies that generated measurable business impact
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology) and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Experience with foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, scenario planning, horizon scanning)
- Published work in futurist journals or mainstream tech publications (e.g., MIT Tech Review, Wired)
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and strategic modeling software
