Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic foresight frameworks for emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech)
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints translating future trends into actionable prototypes
- Present strategic recommendations to the Board and executive leadership quarterly
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators for R&D collaboration
- Oversee the Innovation Lab's $2M annual budget and resource allocation
- Mentor junior futurists and conduct trend analysis workshops
- Publish thought leadership in industry publications and conferences
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years in strategic innovation or technology foresight roles
- Proven track record of launching future-focused products/services
- Expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of 2026 tech landscape (quantum computing, AGI, climate tech)
- Exceptional executive communication and stakeholder management skills
- Certification in Innovation Management or Futures Research (e.g., ACIF)
