Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, quantum computing, biotech, and climate tech
- Develop 2026+ strategic scenarios and innovation roadmaps for executive leadership
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to embed future-thinking into product development
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, scientists, and industry disruptors
- Translate complex future scenarios into compelling narratives for stakeholders
- Oversee the implementation of emerging technology pilots and proof-of-concepts
- Author thought leadership publications and represent the company at global forums
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in innovation strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (e.g., AGI, synthetic biology)
- Proven track record of developing and implementing long-term strategic plans
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario planning capabilities
- Experience leading high-impact innovation initiatives in Fortune 500 environments
- Strong presentation skills with executive audiences and public speaking experience
