Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop and implement innovation roadmaps integrating AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Facilitate executive workshops on future scenario planning and strategic foresight
- Build and maintain relationships with global innovation ecosystems and academic research institutions
- Translate future insights into product development strategies and market positioning
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at industry forums
- Mentor cross-functional teams on future-focused methodologies and innovation practices
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, Strategic Planning, or equivalent experience
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-oriented R&D leadership
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology, advanced materials)
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-oriented business strategies
- Exceptional analytical frameworks for trend analysis and scenario development
- Experience with global futures methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning, Causal Layered Analysis)
- Strong presentation skills with ability to communicate complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
