- Develop scenario-planning models for disruptive technologies (quantum computing, AGI, neuro interfaces)
- Present executive briefings on emerging risks and opportunities affecting our $2B innovation portfolio
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and global futurist networks to expand our predictive capabilities
- Create thought leadership publications and white papers that position Nexus as the industry's future authority
- Mentor a team of junior futurists and innovation analysts using structured learning frameworks
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercialized products or services
- Expertise in systems thinking, scenario planning, and causal layered analysis methodologies
- Strong proficiency in AI trend analysis tools (e.g., GPT-4, Palantir Metropolis) and data visualization
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience addressing C-suite and board audiences
