Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and translate insights into actionable innovation strategies
- Lead cross-functional teams to develop speculative prototypes and proof-of-concepts for 2026+ product visions
- Design and execute horizon-scanning methodologies to identify disruptive opportunities
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Build and maintain an ecosystem of academic, industry, and startup partnerships
- Author thought leadership content and represent Horizon Labs at global innovation forums
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating futuristic concepts into commercial products
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies and market disruption patterns
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Exceptional storytelling and visualization skills for complex concepts
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through ambiguous innovation challenges
- Published thought leadership in innovation or technology journals
