Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026 business landscapes
- Develop and execute innovation roadmaps for Fortune 500 clients across quantum computing, biotech, and Web3 domains
- Facilitate executive workshops translating future scenarios into actionable business strategies
- Build and lead cross-functional teams of data scientists, UX designers, and domain experts
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at global innovation forums
- Secure $5M+ in R&D funding through strategic partnerships with MIT, Stanford, and DARPA
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or equivalent interdisciplinary field
- Fluency in scenario planning methodologies and trend analysis frameworks
- Exceptional storytelling abilities to communicate complex futures to diverse stakeholders
- Portfolio demonstrating at least three industry-defining innovation initiatives launched since 2020
- Security clearance or ability to obtain DoD clearance for classified projects
