Responsibilities
- Architect 3-5 year innovation roadmaps using predictive analytics and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional sprints to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Conduct horizon-scanning across 15+ emerging tech domains (quantum, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Present strategic foresight to C-suite and board with data-backed recommendations
- Manage $2M+ innovation portfolio with ROI-driven resource allocation
- Curate global thought leadership through whitepapers and TED-style talks
- Mentor junior futurists in trend synthesis and strategic storytelling
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record translating future trends into commercial IP (patents/portfolio)
- Expertise in horizon scanning, Delphi methods, and scenario modeling frameworks
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Portfolio showcasing 3+ future-tech commercialization case studies
- Proficiency in Python for trend analysis and Tableau for data visualization
- Published thought leadership in HBR/Forbes or equivalent tier
- Fluency in Mandarin or German for global stakeholder engagement
