Responsibilities
- Identify and analyze emerging technologies, market disruptions, and societal shifts impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps with 3-5 year horizons aligned with business objectives
- Lead scenario-planning workshops and trend forecasting for AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Present future-focused insights to executive leadership and investor forums
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype next-gen solutions and validate market viability
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Author thought leadership publications on disruptive innovation trends
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years in innovation strategy, R&D leadership, or futurism consulting
- Proven track record of implementing technology roadmaps with measurable ROI
- Deep expertise in AI/ML, quantum computing, or biotech convergence
- Exceptional data storytelling and executive presentation skills
- Published research or patents in emerging technology domains
- Experience with scenario planning methodologies and horizon scanning
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., from World Future Society)
