Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams to develop 2026 technology roadmaps and strategic foresight frameworks
- Analyze emerging trends in AI, biotech, and sustainable energy to identify disruptive opportunities
- Produce annual 'Future State' reports for executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Design and facilitate scenario-planning workshops for C-suite executives
- Oversee the implementation of pilot programs for futuristic technologies
- Mentor junior futurists and innovation specialists
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of publishing industry white papers or thought leadership pieces
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technology assessment methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-shaping initiatives
