Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026+ strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineers, designers, and domain experts
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive opportunities
- Present visionary frameworks to executive stakeholders and board members
- Manage a portfolio of pre-seed innovation projects with $5M+ budget oversight
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and global research labs
- Curate annual FutureSummit conference showcasing 2026 technology forecasts
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of launching market-defining technologies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Deep expertise in exponential technology trends and scenario planning
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation journals
- Experience scaling innovation teams in high-growth environments
- Certification in Futures Thinking (preferred)
