Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify and quantify disruptive trends across AI, biotech, quantum computing, and climate tech
- Develop and publish annual '2026 Strategic Outlook' reports with predictive models and scenario analyses
- Architect and execute innovation roadmaps for $200M+ R&D portfolios
- Chair executive foresight councils with Fortune 500 partners and academic institutions
- Translate complex futures insights into actionable business strategies and product roadmaps
- Manage cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, design, and product teams
- Represent the company at global forums like Davos and World Economic Future Summits
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, Strategic Foresight, or equivalent experience
- 8+ years in strategic innovation, futures analysis, or technology roadmapping at Fortune 500 or scale-up
- Proven track record of developing and implementing predictive models for market evolution
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and systems dynamics modeling
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy (e.g., MIT Sloan, Harvard Business Review)
- Experience advising C-suite on long-term strategic pivots and market disruption
