Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends, technological disruptions, and behavioral shifts to forecast industry impacts through 2026
- Develop and implement strategic foresight frameworks using scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional innovation workshops to translate future insights into actionable product roadmaps
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
- Present executive-level briefings on emerging risks and opportunities with data-driven recommendations
- Design and deploy AI-powered foresight tools to accelerate trend identification and impact assessment
- Champion future-centric culture by developing internal education programs on 2026+ implications
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 10+ years of experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or future-focused research
- Proven expertise in scenario planning methodologies and trend analysis frameworks
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling and visualization skills to communicate complex future scenarios
- Experience with futures research tools (e.g., Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful strategic foresight projects with measurable business impact
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or similar) preferred
