Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends to develop predictive models for 2026+ market disruptions
- Lead cross-functional workshops to co-create future scenarios with engineering, product, and leadership teams
- Author whitepapers and thought leadership content positioning Horizon Labs as an industry futurist authority
- Establish KPI frameworks to track emerging technology adoption and market evolution metrics
- Advise executive leadership on strategic pivots based on horizon-scanning intelligence
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
- Lead the development of Horizon Labs' annual Future State Report
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or advanced market research
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and systemic modeling methodologies
- Proven track record of translating foresight into actionable business strategies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related quantitative field
- Published thought leadership on emerging technologies or societal transformation
- Experience with AI-driven forecasting tools and large-scale data visualization platforms
- Demonstrated ability to influence executive decision-making through compelling narratives
- Portfolio showcasing 3+ future-strategy implementations with measurable impact
