Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies and market shifts impacting 2026
- Develop strategic frameworks for enterprise innovation and future-proofing initiatives
- Facilitate executive workshops and stakeholder presentations on long-term vision scenarios
- Oversee cross-functional teams in implementing experimental projects with 3-5 year horizons
- Produce actionable foresight reports and risk assessments for emerging trends
- Drive thought leadership through industry publications and conference speaking
- Maintain competitive intelligence network with global innovation hubs and research institutions
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, systems thinking, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills with executive presence
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or implemented strategic initiatives
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or similar)
