Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026 technology foresight framework through market analysis and trend extrapolation
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities in AI, quantum computing, and neurotech
- Produce strategic white papers and executive briefings on emerging tech implications
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype 2026-ready solutions with industry partners
- Represent the company at global tech summits and thought leadership forums
- Mentor junior futurists and establish departmental KPIs for innovation tracking
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or advanced technology research
- Proven track record of developing 5+ year technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: quantum computing, AI ethics, or synthetic biology
- PhD or Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related technical field
- Published author in peer-reviewed tech journals or industry publications
- Experience with scenario planning methodologies and horizon scanning techniques
