The Opportunity: This hybrid role combines strategic foresight with hands-on technical guidance. You'll lead cross-functional initiatives, present to C-suite executives, and influence product development for technologies that will define the next decade.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps for quantum computing, biotech convergence, and decentralized systems
- Lead scenario planning workshops for 2026 market disruptions and regulatory shifts
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype next-gen human-AI collaboration interfaces
- Present strategic briefings to stakeholders including NASA, WHO, and EU Commission
- Author thought leadership reports on ethical AI governance frameworks
- Manage $5M+ innovation portfolio for emerging tech incubation
- Represent company at Davos, Web Summit, and IEEE Future Horizons conferences
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Futuristics
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum or AI ethics (2018-2023)
- Experience with ISO 42001 AI governance frameworks and NIST AI RMF
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, or synthetic biology
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum circuit modeling (Qiskit)
- Clearable security clearance (preferred for government projects)
