Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies and market opportunities through 2026
- Develop strategic technology roadmaps aligned with long-term business objectives and industry disruption scenarios
- Champion innovation workshops and scenario-planning sessions with cross-functional stakeholders
- Author forward-looking whitepapers and executive briefings on emerging tech impacts (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-proofing principles into development lifecycles
- Represent the company at global tech forums and futurist conferences
- Mentor junior strategists and build a network of futurist thought leaders
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology leadership
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial opportunities
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, blockchain, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field
- Exceptional data storytelling and visualization capabilities
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., from Association of Professional Futurists)
- Published author or keynote speaker on technology futures
- Experience with scenario planning and risk-mitigation frameworks
