Responsibilities
- Develop and execute technology foresight frameworks mapping emerging innovations to market opportunities through 2026
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating futuristic technologies in real-world environments
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, government agencies, and industry disruptors
- Author thought leadership publications and deliver keynote presentations at global tech summits
- Design and implement agile innovation methodologies to accelerate technology adoption cycles
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive threats and opportunities across global markets
- Mentor junior futurists and cultivate a culture of radical innovation within the organization
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Forecasting, Systems Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8 years experience in strategic technology planning with Fortune 500 or high-growth startups
- Proven track record of launching at least two transformative technology initiatives
- Expertise in emerging technologies: quantum computing, AGI, biotech convergence, or climate tech
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Strong network within global innovation ecosystems (Silicon Valley, EU Tech Hubs, etc.)
- Certification in Futures Studies, Technology Assessment, or equivalent foresight methodology
- Experience developing policy recommendations for technology governance frameworks
