We are seeking a visionary Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer to design and deploy the next-generation network backbone for our flagship stadiums. The Role:
You will be responsible for the architecture, deployment, and maintenance of the critical IT infrastructure supporting match-day operations, fan Wi-Fi, and broadcast feeds. You will act as the technical lead for network resilience during high-traffic events.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, high-availability network architectures for stadium environments.
- Oversee the deployment of private 5G networks and high-density Wi-Fi 6/6E solutions.
- Develop and execute disaster recovery and business continuity plans for critical IT systems.
- Collaborate with security teams to enforce enterprise-level data protection and compliance standards.
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee the integration of third-party hardware and software solutions.
- Monitor network performance in real-time to troubleshoot issues during high-traffic events.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- 7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure engineering, with a focus on enterprise network architecture.
- Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or AWS Solutions Architect are highly preferred.
- Deep knowledge of network protocols, routing, switching, and VPN technologies.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and hybrid infrastructure management.
- Strong scripting skills in Python or Bash for automation and configuration management.
