Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and maintain remote workstations including laptops, monitors, peripherals, and networking equipment
- Provide Tier 3 technical support for hardware/software issues via remote access and virtual troubleshooting
- Develop and implement IT asset management protocols for distributed teams across Minneapolis and Illinois offices
- Coordinate logistics for equipment procurement, shipping, and returns with 3PL partners
- Create documentation for onboarding procedures, equipment specifications, and troubleshooting guides
- Collaborate with security team to enforce compliance for remote work environments
- Monitor equipment performance metrics and proactively address scalability needs
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management with remote/hybrid workforce support
- Expertise in deploying and managing Windows/macOS environments and virtualization platforms
- Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals, VPNs, and secure remote access protocols
- Certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Azure) preferred
- Experience with ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Jira) and asset management systems
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with ability to diagnose hardware/software issues remotely
- Strong communication skills for training non-technical staff on equipment usage
- Ability to lift 30lbs for equipment handling as needed
