Responsibilities
- Design & Optimize: Architect and refine quantum circuit algorithms to minimize error rates and maximize coherence times in hybrid quantum-classical environments.
- Infrastructure Management: Oversee the deployment and maintenance of on-premise quantum processing units (QPUs) and classical HPC clusters.
- Integration: Develop robust middleware to interface legacy AI models with emerging quantum computing frameworks.
- Error Correction: Implement real-time error mitigation strategies and fault-tolerant protocols to ensure operational stability.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with theoretical physicists and data scientists to translate research breakthroughs into scalable production code.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s or PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or a related field with a focus on computational theory.
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in high-performance computing (HPC) and software engineering.
- Tech Stack: Proficiency in Python, C++, and TensorFlow/PyTorch; hands-on experience with Qiskit, Cirq, or PyQuil.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to tackle complex mathematical problems and optimize algorithms for quantum hardware constraints.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
