Responsibilities
- Algorithm Design: Design and implement scalable quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning problems.
- Circuit Optimization: Translate theoretical algorithms into efficient quantum circuits, minimizing error rates and maximizing coherence times.
- Simulation & Modeling: Develop high-fidelity quantum simulators and benchmarks to validate algorithmic performance on NISQ devices.
- Collaboration: Partner with quantum physicists and software engineers to integrate quantum modules into larger distributed systems.
- Research Publication: Contribute to academic journals and present findings at leading quantum computing conferences.
Qualifications
- Education: PhD or Master’s degree in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on high-performance computing or quantum computing.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python (NumPy, SciPy), C++, and quantum programming frameworks such as Qiskit, Cirq, or Pennylane.
- Problem Solving: Strong ability to tackle complex mathematical problems and translate them into computational solutions.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of explaining complex concepts to diverse stakeholders.
