Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures using superconducting and photonic systems
- Lead quantum error correction protocol development for fault-tolerant operations
- Collaborate with AI teams to develop hybrid quantum-classical machine learning frameworks
- Drive quantum algorithm optimization for high-stakes applications in finance and logistics
- Establish quantum security protocols resistant to 2026-era cyber threats
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and publish breakthrough research in peer-reviewed journals
- Partner with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors with 100+ qubit capabilities
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum algorithm development
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction codes (surface, color, LDPC)
- Experience with quantum computing frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and simulators
- Strong background in superconducting qubit fabrication or photonic quantum systems
