Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies to improve organic traffic and search engine rankings for our clients.
- Technical SEO: Conduct deep-dive technical audits, identify crawl errors, and optimize site architecture for better indexing and performance.
- Keyword Research: Perform advanced keyword research to identify high-value opportunities and optimize on-page content accordingly.
- Content Strategy: Collaborate with content creators to develop SEO-friendly blogs, landing pages, and whitepapers.
- Analytics & Reporting: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) using Google Analytics and Search Console, providing monthly performance reports to stakeholders.
- Link Building: Manage and execute off-page SEO campaigns to build high-quality backlinks and domain authority.
- Competitor Analysis: Analyze competitor strategies to uncover gaps and opportunities for our brand.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3-5+ years of proven experience in SEO, preferably with a digital marketing agency or remote-first environment.
- Technical Skills: Deep understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to troubleshoot technical SEO issues.
- Tools: Proficiency in SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Google Search Console, and Google Analytics.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting complex data to non-technical stakeholders.
- Self-Starter: Ability to work independently in a remote setting with minimal supervision.
- Local Knowledge: Understanding of the local Tucson, AZ market is a plus.
