Responsibilities
- Architect and implement scalable cloud-native applications using Python and AWS
- Lead agile development cycles with daily standups and sprint planning
- Mentor junior developers through code reviews and technical guidance
- Optimize application performance and security protocols
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Contribute to open-source projects and technical documentation
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation (1 week/month)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or 5+ years equivalent experience
- Expert proficiency in Python, Django/Flask, and PostgreSQL
- AWS certification (Solutions Architect Professional or equivalent)
- Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitLab CI
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ production-level applications
- Excellent written communication for remote collaboration
- Authorized to work in the United States
