Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud-native microservices using AWS/GCP and serverless architectures
- Lead API development and integration with third-party systems
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and technical workshops
- Optimize system performance and implement CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product and design teams using Agile methodologies
- Document technical specifications and contribute to our engineering blog
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Python/Java/Go
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices patterns
- Proven ability to lead complex projects from conception to deployment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Portfolio demonstrating scalable system design
