Responsibilities
- Architect and implement scalable microservices using Node.js, Python, and AWS cloud infrastructure
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers while maintaining high-quality standards
- Optimize application performance and implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Docker
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Contribute to open-source projects and stay current with emerging DevOps practices
- Document technical specifications and create comprehensive API documentation
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in backend development with Node.js and Python
- Proven expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and serverless architectures
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and database optimization
- Experience with Agile methodologies and JIRA project management
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously
- Portfolio demonstrating complex system design and deployment projects
