Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy high-quality, scalable software solutions using modern frameworks and best practices.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other engineers to define feature requirements and technical specifications.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code with a focus on performance, security, and user experience.
- Mentor junior developers and conduct rigorous code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to architectural standards.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues and performance bottlenecks in production systems.
- Participate in agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to ensure project milestones are met.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to propose innovative solutions and drive technical strategy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- 5+ years of professional software development experience, with a strong preference for candidates with remote or distributed team experience.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Node.js, or Python.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex issues independently.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
- Willingness to engage with the Miami-based culture virtually and attend occasional virtual meetups.
