Responsibilities
- Architect & Build: Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable software solutions using modern programming languages and frameworks.
- System Optimization: Analyze complex codebases to improve application performance, scalability, and reliability in a cloud environment.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define feature requirements and deliver high-quality user experiences.
- Code Quality Assurance: Write clean, maintainable code and conduct thorough code reviews to enforce best practices and technical standards.
- Technical Leadership: Mentor junior developers, participate in architecture planning, and drive technical decision-making within the team.
- DevOps Integration: Implement CI/CD pipelines and collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure smooth deployment processes.
- Problem Solving: Debug complex issues and troubleshoot production incidents with a focus on rapid resolution and root cause analysis.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Experience: 5+ years of professional software development experience, specifically in full-stack development.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Node.js, and SQL databases.
- Cloud Knowledge: Strong experience with AWS or Azure and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Self-Motivation: Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage time effectively without supervision.
- Security Focus: Understanding of secure coding practices and data privacy regulations (GDPR/CCPA).
